Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Ruth’s journey to the U.S. at the age of 11 shaped not only her life, but her calling. Witnessing firsthand the complexities and emotional toll of the U.S. immigration system, Ruth developed a deep-rooted passion for advocating on behalf of immigrants that led her to become an immigration attorney.
Since entering the field in 2016, Ruth has built a strong reputation among her peers as a skilled and relentless advocate, and is deeply valued by her clients for her compassion and empathy. She has represented numerous clients before USCIS, the Immigration Courts, and the Board of Immigration Appeals with the utmost care and attention to detail. Her combination of legal knowledge, hands-on experience, and genuine passion for helping others have contributed to a strong record of success. Her bilingual fluency in Spanish and English ensures that her clients feel heard and understood throughout every step of their case.
Ruth lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their dog. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking, playing the guitar, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
